This summit marks our second year of gathering experts from around the world to discuss how advancements in Perfusion Imaging can contribute to enhancing patient care and outcomes. The sessions presented will not only provide insights into the future of this field but will also address how these advancements can integrate with existing clinical workflows and practices.

The Main Event:

The Cercare Medical Perfusion Summit 2025 will spotlight two important themes: Stroke and Oncology. This event provides an opportunity to explore the latest advancements in perfusion imaging, including the role of biomarkers in supporting informed clinical decisions. Presentations will highlight how real-time, precise data and advanced biomarkers contribute to generating accurate imaging maps, enhancing decision-making in critical care, and driving advancements in neuroimaging—all while optimizing workflow efficiency.

Professor Leif Østergaard,
Department of Clinical Medicine, Aarhus University, Denmark

Dr. Leif Østergaard is a world-renowned expert in neuroimaging and cerebral perfusion, with over two decades of pioneering contributions to medical research and clinical innovation. Following influential research at Harvard, he has established himself as a key figure at Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital, advancing our understanding of cerebral blood flow, capillary dysfunction, and their roles in conditions like stroke, dementia, and neurodegenerative diseases.

Pre-Event Workshop (Optional)

The first day of the summit, April 3, 2025, from 13:00 to 17:00, will be dedicated to optional hands-on workshops. Experts will present real-life case scenarios, allowing participants to engage in discussions using the Cercare Medical Neurosuite software. The workshops will highlight the importance of biomarkers and demonstrate how our the software is making a significant difference in patient care.
