Cercare Medical is pleased to announce that our Cercare Medical Neurosuite platform has been independently assessed by a recognised 3rd party assessor to be fully compliant with the UK NHS Digital Technology Assessment Criteria (DTAC).
The Digital Technology Assessment Criteria (DTAC) is the UK National Health Service’s standard for evaluating whether digital health technologies meet essential requirements across five key areas: clinical safety, data protection, technical assurance, interoperability, and usability and accessibility. This ensures that digital solutions deployed within the NHS are safe, secure, and robust.
DTAC is the mandatory baseline standard for all digital health technologies procured and deployed within NHS organisations. The independent 3rd party assessment included a combination of third-party testing and auditing, internal self-assessments with external review, the creation of a DCB0129-compliant Clinical Safety Case, and the maintenance of comprehensive risk and clinical documentation.
This achievement enables greater access to the UK market and enables NHS organisations to procure and deploy our Cercare Medical Neurosuite platform with confidence, and allows us to participate in both local and national NHS tenders.
By meeting the NHS’s standards for digital health, Cercare Medical continues to support healthcare professionals with safe, reliable, and clinically validated imaging technology that enhances decision-making and patient care.
